Not a website. An application your business runs on.

Custom Web Applications

Need a client zone, an internal application, a portal, or a new digital product? We'll design and build a web application around your processes and your users' needs – from the first analysis through UX, architecture, and programming, to deployment and long-term development.
We don't start with the technology. First we need to understand what the application has to solve. Only then do we look for the simplest way to get there.

When a custom web application makes sense

I need to move a process out of spreadsheets and email

Manual work, re-typed data, and improvised spreadsheets can carry a surprising amount. Up to a point. A web application can unify the process, automate it, and open it up to everyone who works with it.

I need a client or partner portal

I want to give customers, partners, or employees one place to find the information, documents, orders, services, or tasks that concern them.

I have an idea for a new digital product

I need to validate the idea, build an MVP, and then grow it into a full application that scales with the business.

Off-the-shelf software isn't enough

Existing software won't bend to our process, or forces us to bend our own way of working to it. We need an application built around how the company or its customers actually work.

The web applications we build

Client and partner portals

Self-service zones for customers, business partners, or suppliers – connected to your internal systems and data.

Internal company applications

Tools that replace spreadsheets, manual admin work, or several disconnected applications, and give employees one place for their daily work.

Digital products and SaaS

From the first MVP to a product developed long-term, with its own business logic, users, and business model.

Data applications and dashboards

Applications that collect, process, and expose data so people can actually work with it and make decisions based on it.

Booking, ordering, and workflow systems

Web applications that drive a specific process – from a simple workflow to more complex operations with different roles, permissions, and dependencies.

System integrations

A web application rarely lives on its own. We connect it to ERP, CRM, accounting, e-commerce, payment systems, external APIs, and other parts of your company's IT.

01

We understand the problem

We start with the users and the business. We find out who will work with the application, what they need to get done, and where the problem lies today.

02

We design the solution and a prototype

We design the individual screens, the workflow, and the user interface. For bigger projects we build a clickable prototype you can try before development even starts.

03

We design the architecture

We define the technical solution, the data model, integrations, security, and how it will run in operation. We choose the technology to fit the project, not the other way around.

04

We build it and show you along the way

We develop the web application in manageable pieces. We present the results regularly, so you can see the product taking shape and correct its direction in time.

05

We deploy and stay on

We deploy the application, monitor it, and can take over its long-term maintenance and further development. Our goal isn't to hand over a repository. We want to deliver software that actually works.

Technology is a means, not an end

We build web applications as full-stack solutions – from the user interface through the backend and databases to infrastructure and integrations.

Depending on the project, we work with Python and Django, Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript and TypeScript, among others, and modern cloud services. For DevOps we mainly use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, orchestration, and scaling, GitLab and GitHub for source control and CI/CD pipelines, and Sentry and tools built on OpenTelemetry for monitoring, logging, and catching errors in production.

We increasingly build artificial intelligence into applications as well – for example through a RAG architecture (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) that connects large language models with your own data and knowledge base.

A turnkey web application, or your own development team?

Turnkey project

If you have a specific project and want us to take responsibility for delivering it, we can build the web application as a turnkey project.

Team on demand

If you already have your own product and development process and mainly need extra capacity or senior know-how, we can extend your team with Team on demand.

Frequently asked questions

A web application is software that users access through a web browser. Unlike a regular website, it isn't primarily there to present content – it lets users actively work with data and carry out specific tasks, such as managing orders, customers, documents, or business processes.

A website is usually there mainly to present information. A web application has its own application logic, user accounts, data, workflows, or connections to other systems. In practice, of course, one product can combine both.

Yes. Custom web application development makes the most sense where standard software doesn't cover specific processes, or where it limits the further growth of your company or product.

Yes. Integrations are a routine part of our projects. We connect web applications to enterprise systems, accounting, e-commerce platforms, payment services, and other internal or external APIs.

No. If all you have is a problem, an idea, or a rough concept, we can work out the specification together as part of the UX, business, and technical analysis.

Yes – and we often prefer it. Instead of a big project from day one, we try to find the smallest meaningful version of the product that tests the key assumptions and delivers real value early.

Have a web application in mind?

You don't need a specification or a chosen technology. Describe the problem you want to solve. We'll work out the technical side together.
