
Inter Cars S.A.
Inter Cars company was established in 1990 (it is interesting that it is still owned by its founders). With more than 500 branches in 16 European countries, it is one of the largest distributors of spare parts for cars and trucks in Europe.
What was our goal
In time, when Inter Cars has set a goal to prepare a new e-commerce solution for all European regions, which are actually servicing (see client´s introduction), it has set a deadline for “MVP” creation for several of them. They have to prove solution viability (proof of concept). Because each region has its own specifications, e.g. in terms of payment, and customers there are used on local solutions, it was necessary at 1st phase to implement a payment system combining several payment gateway providers with many payment possibilities.
How we proceeded
So Eluvia has become at 1st half of 2019 one of key partners for Inter Cars S.A. for its new realized international B2C project. The 1st task was a complex development and implementation of payment solution and a development of individual components according to managers' requirements of each country, where the project was implemented. There were also components for managing discount campaigns, user management (logins, the user database itself, etc.), a basket and its items, feed components to external aggregation services / servers, product availability calculations and much more. We also partly covered the frontend development.
And the fact that we have given everything not only to development, but also to communication with the client and user experience with software development in general, the following reference suggests.

At InterCars, our goal was to build an MVP e-shop using a microservice architecture for the Czech and Slovak markets, followed by an additional 13 EU countries, all within a short timeframe. To achieve this, we enlisted the support of developers from Eluvia.
